Audience Engaged, LLC ("Audience Engaged," "we," "our," or "us") is a growth agency. We run paid advertising and make performance creative for brands ("Clients"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It covers: our website, audienceengaged.io (the "Site"); the services we provide to Clients (the "Services"), including advertising performance data we access on our Clients' behalf through Meta's Marketing API (the "Meta Platform Data"); and our internal reporting tools, which only Audience Engaged team members can access.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us
When you contact us, request a consultation or become a Client, we may collect:
name;
email address;
phone number;
company name; and
any other information you choose to share with us.
1.2 Information collected automatically on the Site
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:
IP address;
browser type and version;
device type;
referring URL;
pages visited and time spent on the Site; and
information from cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
1.3 Meta Platform Data we access for Clients
When a Client hires us and grants our business account access to its Meta ad accounts (through Meta Business Manager), our app reads that Client's advertising data through Meta's Marketing API. We only request read access (the ads_read permission). This data may include:
Ad account information: account name and ID, currency, time zone, account status and spend limits.
Campaign, ad set and ad information: names, IDs, status, objectives, budgets, bids, schedules, targeting settings and change history.
Ad creative information: ad copy, headlines, calls to action, links, and identifiers or links for images and videos, plus the Facebook Page or Instagram account an ad runs from.
Performance reports (insights): impressions, reach, frequency, clicks, spend, conversions and other actions, conversion values, video view metrics, and the attribution settings used.
Aggregated breakdowns: the same performance metrics split by age range, gender, country or region, placement, platform, device and hour of day.
Meta provides performance data in aggregated and estimated form. We do not receive, and do not try to obtain, the identity or personal information of the people who saw or interacted with our Clients' ads. Breakdowns such as age range or country describe groups of people, not individuals.
2. How We Use Information
We use information we collect from you and from the Site to:
respond to inquiries and provide our Services;
communicate with you about your account, projects and our Services;
operate, secure, analyze and improve the Site; and
prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
We use Meta Platform Data only to provide our Services to the Client who owns that ad account, specifically to:
report campaign and creative performance to the Client and to our team;
compare results to the Client's goals (for example, cost per acquisition targets); and
decide which campaigns and creatives to change, scale or replace for that Client.
We do not:
sell Meta Platform Data, or license or rent it to anyone;
use one Client's Meta Platform Data for another Client, or combine Clients' data to build profiles of individuals;
use Meta Platform Data for advertising targeting outside the Client's own Meta ad accounts, for credit, insurance, employment or housing decisions, or for any purpose that discriminates against people; or
use Meta Platform Data in any way that breaks Meta's Platform Terms or Developer Policies.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only:
With the Client it belongs to. A Client's Meta Platform Data is shared only with that Client and with Audience Engaged team members working on that Client's account.
With service providers who process data for us under contracts and only on our instructions, such as database and web hosting, analytics, email and project-management tools. For Meta Platform Data, these include our database host (Supabase) and our web hosting provider (Vercel), and AI assistants our team uses to analyze reports.
For legal reasons, when required by law, or to enforce our agreements or protect our rights, users or the public.
In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Any successor must keep the commitments in this Policy.
4. Data Retention
Contact and Client information: kept for as long as needed to provide our Services and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Meta Platform Data: kept while we work with the Client, so we can report historical performance. Within 30 days after an engagement ends, or sooner if the Client asks, we delete that Client's Meta Platform Data from our systems, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Raw copies of Meta API responses, kept for checking our reports against Meta's numbers, are automatically deleted after 90 days.
If a Client removes our access in Meta Business Manager, we stop collecting new data from that ad account immediately.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and to understand how the Site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may not work properly.
6. How to Request Deletion of Your Data (including Meta Platform Data)
You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Clients: email sid@audienceengaged.io with the subject line "Data deletion request" and the ad account ID(s) involved. We will delete that Client's Meta Platform Data from our systems within 30 days and confirm by email once it is done. You can also remove Audience Engaged's access to your ad accounts at any time in Meta Business Manager (Business Settings → Partners or Ad Accounts).
Anyone else, including people who have contacted us through the Site: email sid@audienceengaged.io with the subject line "Data deletion request" and tell us what you want deleted. We will respond within 30 days.
We may need to verify your identity or authority, for example that you manage the ad account, before acting on a request.
7. Security
We protect information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including:
access limited to authorized Audience Engaged team members;
encryption in transit;
access credentials for Meta stored in an encrypted secrets vault; and
database access rules that keep each Client's data separate.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident that affects Meta Platform Data, we will notify the affected Client and Meta as required.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
access the personal information we hold about you;
correct or delete it;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent where we rely on it; and
opt out of marketing emails, using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
To use any of these rights, email sid@audienceengaged.io. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
9. Third-Party Links and Platforms
The Site may link to other websites, and our Services rely on third-party platforms such as Meta. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle information. For example, Meta's Privacy Policy is at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site and our Services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use Meta Platform Data, we will tell affected Clients directly.
